Vita Health Go Green Program

To help preserve our communities and our environments we have started a Go Green Bag Program. Whenever you BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) we'll make a donation to your choice of two local charities.  To date, over $7,000 has been raised for local charities!

Re-usable cloth Vita Bags are also available for purchase for only .99 cents!

THANK YOU for helping us GO GREEN!  Since starting the GO GREEN program, we've eliminated plastic bags entirely and switched to oxygen-degradable bags.  In addition, we've eliminated over 100,000 bags from the landfills!

Our current charity is the Children's Hospital Foundation.

The mission of the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba Inc. is to be an independent agency whose purpose is to raise and distribute funds for the advancement of knowledge and care in the fields of child health and child health research, thereby contributing to the improved health of children everywhere.

Vita Health honored with Environmental Retailer award

April 4th, 2009.  The Canadian Health Food Association honored us with a Spotlight Award for being an Environmental Retailer!  In addition to our GO GREEN program, we've renovated to incorporated 'green' initiatives such as maintenance-free flooring, energy-star equipment and LED lighting.
